True Believer Robert Priddy Saw Sathya Sai Baba On A Book Cover

Just how “gullible”, “naive”, “brainwashed” and “stupid” was Robert Priddy (a caustic critic and defamer of Sathya Sai Baba) when he was a Sai Devotee for 17-26 years? The answer is very gullible, very naive, very brainwashed and very stupid! For example, Robert Priddy published (in his book “Source Of The Dream”) the following book-cover scans to Laurens Van Der Post’s “The Night Of The New Moon” and claimed that one could easily discern the form of Sathya Sai Baba in them! So easily, in fact, Robert Priddy had to photoshop out most of the book cover. Note: The copyright to the book cover for “The Night Of The New Moon” belongs to Laurens van der Post and not to Robert Priddy who thinks he possesses copyrights to everything he writes about:

Notice how Robert Priddy enhanced the color on the edited scan and had to carefully shape Baba’s hair from the clouds? Gerald Joe Moreno looked long and hard at the images and cannot see Sathya Sai Baba in them. These scans show how gullible, naive and “backward intellectually” Robert Priddy was when he was a Sai Devotee.

About the alleged form of Sathya Sai Baba on the book-cover, Robert Priddy said:

Robert Priddy: “A second leela, which we felt was a form of recognition by Baba for our carrying out regular study of his teachings, occurred similarly one evening when we plodded on with our reading, even though we were very tired. My eye was suddenly drawn to the form of Sathya Sai in the clouds of an evening sky on the front cover of a book that I had recently read…The figure of Sai, leaning forward as if to dispense vibuthi, can be figured out from the background.” (Source Of The Dream, ‘The Universal World Teacher’, pg 212)

How does one make the quantum leap from gullible, naive and “backward intellectually” Sai Devotee to a self-promoting rationalist, scientist and mentally sound critic? Robert Priddy allegedly made that leap, but apparently fell on his face and got his foot permanently stuck in his mouth (as Priddy still endorses, defends and allies himself with psychic trance medium Conny Larsson).

Robert Priddy loves to ridicule miracles attributed to Sathya Sai Baba and says that one’s “credulity would have to be that of a 3-year old” in order to believe them. And yet, Robert Priddy fully believed in Sathya Sai Baba’s paranormal powers when he was a Sai Devotee for 17-26 years. As a matter of fact, Robert Priddy still believe that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers.

Robert Priddy: “Nonetheless, it will surely surprise some that I am am still almost certain – on the basis of extended personal observation – that Sathya Sai Baba can and does carry out apports, which therefore can appear as materialisations from nothing.”

An apport is when an object is miraculously dematerialized from one place and time and then miraculously re-materialized in a present place and time. This may explain why Robert Priddy’s credulity is that of a 3-year old and why he automatically believes everything he reads on the internet against Sathya Sai Baba.

Robert Priddy was one of those gullible, naive, “ignorami”, “backward intellectually” and “ignorant peasants” when he was a Sai Devotee for 17-26 years who believed in Avatars, lilas, divine manifestations, gnomes, trolls, fairies, possessing demons, elves, UFOs, extra-terrestials, leprechauns and elementals (Ref).

Robert Priddy is bitter and vindictive because he fully documented his own gullible, naive, brainwashed and non-intelligent devotee behavior in his Pro-Sai book for the world to see! What’s even funnier is how Robert Priddy bashes Sai Devotees for acting and believing in the very same manner he did when he was a Sai Devotee.

Too bad Robert Priddy can’t thumb-suck his way out of this one.
